GRANDPA Longboards manufactures longboard skateboards in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, that employs industry-leading quality-control procedures.

BMP Certification:  Our suppliers are required to be Best Management Practices (BMP) certified from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).  This certification is granted only after third-party auditors have verified that our suppliers use forestry techniques that do not harm or pollute surrounding streams, lakes, rivers, and the groundwater when harvesting our timber.

SFI Program:  Our suppliers are also required to adhere and be committed to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) initiated in 1994 by the American Forest & Paper Association, ensuring that Grandpa Longboards’s suppliers are abiding by a set of forestry principles that meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations.  The Sustainable Forestry Initiative represents a standard of quality-control that is only accredited to the best in sustainable forest management, and only a handful of longboard manufactures in the United States value this standard of quality.
